This is a vintage travelling suitcase. An English, leather case by Asprey London, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.



  • Elegant case with a pleasingly appointed interior

  • Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout

  • Leather tanned in black with a lightly time worn appearance

  • Dressed with a pair of brass sliding clasps with inset locks — key absent



  • Broad carry handle with comfortable leather grip and oval brass mounts

  • Interior finished in a textured silk cotton with a distinctive indigo hue

  • Lid offers a fabric slide and mount - possibly used to host a handheld mirror

  • Leading edge of the case reveals the Asprey London mark when open
