Superb early 19th Century English gilt console table. This charming piece is of elegant proportions and features hand-carved detailing throughout the wooden structure. Sitting above the wooden structure is a large piece of marble that is original to the piece.There are some signs of wear to the marble, in the form of a chip, but is an easy repair to be done post-sale...The whole is decoratively carved with gilded foliate decoration. This piece is in great condition for its age and shall continue to age beautifully with time and use.
