Wonderful 19th Century French Arras garden table.
This fantastic example features a very decoratively scrolled wrought iron pedestal with large paw feet and an Arras stamp. The northern town of Arras was famous for its iron foundries, which produced this beautiful style of furniture up until the Second World War.
Arras furniture peppered private and public outdoor spaces in France from the start of production in 1840 until it ceased in the mid-20th Century. Combining durability and a stylish aesthetic.
