Likely originating from South-West France, the ebonised base of five elegantly turned legs are united by a bold X stretcher, the whole supporting an original and stunning 'Rouge du Languedoc' marble top of almost 3' thickness. An important piece of French provincial furniture at it's grandest, yet retaining the simplicity of country influence, this is a genuine statement piece that will command attention in traditional and contemporary settings alike.
