Late 19th Century English superb and imposing carved walnut framed wing armchair in the Carolean taste. This grand chair has a tall arched back which sweeps down into the wings and out-scrolled arms. It stands on beautiful open-carved square section legs which are joined by shaped ''X'' stretchers. Circa 1890.
