Pair of late 17th Century or early 18th Century Italian carved giltwood console tables.
The serpentine faux painted breche violette top above a gilded pierced scrolling cartouche frieze, on shaped legs with c-scrolls and foliate decoration. Joined by an X-shaped stretcher carved with C-scrolls and foliage terminating on scrolled feet.
Some signs of wear commensurate with age.
