A good example of a mid-19th Century English mahogany campaign or military pedestal desk.Of practical yet small size. The leather inset top above one long apron drawer which stands on two separate end pedestals, each of which is fitted with three short drawers and raised on short turned legs. Original condition including the recessed brass handles and feet and pleasing, slightly faded surfaces.Circa 1830.
