Wooden coffer from Nuristan, north-east Afghanistan - one of the most remote areas of the country. 19th century, it has a small sliding door on the front side and pretty detailing. A couple of holes, just showing part of its age and lovely history. Would sit well somewhere with a lovely pot or vase on the top.
