A superb early 18th Century solid oak bench, dating to circa 1720, featuring a beautifully hand-carved panelled back with intricate geometric and foliate decoration.


The oak has been carefully restored and finished in a soft bleached tone, highlighting the depth of the carving and the natural beauty of the grain.


The shaped arms are supported by turned and carved uprights, while the bench stands on a robust box stretcher base.


The seat has been newly upholstered in a quality neutral grey linen, offering both comfort and a subtle contrast to the characterful oak frame.
