A fine quality Dutch marquetry inlaid mahogany writing table with elegant detailing and excellent proportions.


The table features two working drawers to the front with brass pull handles, complemented by two matching dummy drawers at the reverse, allowing it to stand freely in the centre of a room. The richly inlaid decoration showcases classical floral and foliate motifs, enhancing the warmth of the mahogany.


The top is fitted with a dark green leather writing surface, framed by a satinwood crossbanded border and decorative marquetry inlay.


Raised on slender square tapering legs, each finely inlaid to match the overall design.


Presented in very good condition, this writing table combines decorative appeal with functionality, making it a versatile addition to a study, library, or refined interior.
