This is an excellent quality Victorian mahogany linen press, presented in very good condition and displaying a rich colour with attractive grain. The press is constructed in three pieces for ease of transport and installation.


The upper section features a pair of beautifully panelled doors, opening to reveal three original linen slides — ideal for traditional storage of linens, or these can be easily removed and replaced with a hanging rail if you prefer to use the space as a wardrobe.


Below, the chest section offers two short drawers over two graduated long drawers, providing ample storage. The drawers are cockbeaded and of solid mahogany construction, with traditional dovetail joints. All drawers retain their original turned mahogany handles, as well as original locks.


The press stands on a plinth base.
