Item Details

A George III period oak chest of drawers of classic proportions with elegant detailing. The chest is constructed from solid oak, showcasing a rich, warm patina developed over centuries, with a solid oak top and 6 drawers.


The drawer configuration comprises two short drawers over four long graduated drawers, all retaining their original brass locks. Each drawer front is adorned with attractive mahogany crossbanding, providing a refined contrast to the golden oak base. The drawers are further enhanced by cockbeaded edges and they all function well with turned bun handles.


On bracket feet.
