This exceptional Regency mahogany reclining chair, dating to around 1810, is an outstanding example.


Built from rich mahogany and preserved in remarkable condition, it features a professionally upholstered seat and back in hand-dyed, supple brown leather. The deeply buttoned seat, back, and leg rest provide superior comfort, complemented by padded, buttoned armrests.


Designed for smooth functionality, the reclining mechanism allows the chair to ease back to an almost fully reclined position.


Its solid mahogany frame, refined detailing, and casters reflect the high quality and thoughtful design of the period.
