A rare antique figured walnut military campaign chest of drawers, constructed in two sections and retaining its original brass corner mounts, strapping and recessed campaign handles.


The beautifully figured walnut veneers are bookmatched across the drawer fronts, displaying exceptional grain and a rich, warm patina.


The chest comprises two short drawers above three long graduated drawers, all oak-lined with hand-cut dovetail joints and running smoothly.


Raised on turned bun feet, this fine example combines practicality with elegance and is presented in excellent condition throughout.
