A Regency mahogany drum table, originating from England circa 1800.


The table features a round top, which has been newly fitted with a thick leather inset. The leather, hand-dyed in a faded tan hue, showcases a beautifully tooled edge that adds a touch of sophistication and history to the piece.


The table’s frieze features four dummy drawers paired with four fully functioning drawers. These drawers are meticulously crafted with cockbeaded fronts and fitted with brass pull handles, further accentuating the table's refined appeal. 


The table is supported by a solid mahogany turned column. Each of the four reeded legs contributes to the table's stately presence, while the brass cup casters at the base not only provide practical mobility but also complement the elegant details of the design.


Offered in superb showroom condition, this Regency drum table boasts a deep, lustrous mahogany colour that has aged gracefully over time, highlighting the exceptional quality of the wood.
