A superb Regency rosewood sofa table of exceptional quality, offered in excellent condition with a rich, warm patina and beautifully executed brass inlay throughout.


The rectangular top features two drop flaps, each supported by brass-inlaid brackets front and back, allowing the table to extend when required.


To the front is a single oak-lined frieze drawer with fine dovetailing, balanced by a dummy drawer to the reverse—making this an ideal freestanding centrepiece.


The table stands on a tapering concave column with carved corner details, leading to a robust quadriform base and four outswept legs, each finished with brass lion’s paw cup castors.


A striking example of Regency craftsmanship, showcasing exceptional rosewood grain and intricate brasswork—an elegant and functional statement piece for any refined interior.
