A fine quality early 19th century William IV mahogany linen press, presented in three sections: cornice, upper press, and chest base.


The top features 2 beautifully figured flame mahogany panelled doors, opening to reveal five sliding trays, ideal for linen storage. Flanked by elegant reeded columns with carved tulip-style capitals.


The lower section comprises of 2 short over 3 long drawers with cockbeaded edges and original turned wooden handles.


The piece stands on bun feet and benefits from its original working lock and key.


Richly patinated throughout, this is a handsome and practical example of the period, with a striking grain and colour.
