An Art Deco ivory Bulb Bowl depicting green and yellow ducks on water. Designed by William Robinson for Ashtead Potters. Stamped with Robinson’s design mark and Ashtead Potters on the base. Pattern no B12. British 1923-4.

In 1923 Sir Lawrence Weaver created The Ashtead Pottery in Ashtead, Surrey to provide employment for disabled ex-servicemen. After Sir Lawrences’s death the factory was closed in 1935
