Vintage set of six Mario Bellini for Cassina saddle leather cab chairs. Model 412. Labelled Cassina. Designed in 1977. Circa late 1970’s - early examples featuring the manufacturer's paper label.


Sculptural minimalism in design, the chairs are of excellent quality. The saddle leather is stitched around a tubular steel frame and closed with a zipper to the legs, like a custom-tailored garment. The back rests are flexible. All of the chairs are very sturdy.


The chairs are brick red in colour, and they all share an even tone.


They are in good vintage condition, with signs of use and character to the hide, showing scuff, wear and crease marks to the chairs. Please refer to the photographs and video. All of the pad feet are present. Cassina labels present to all chairs, one shows a part label.
