Arts & Crafts Movement oak floor standing dinner gong with stylised sinuous copper panel. Attributed to Shapland And Petter. Circa 1900.
The gong stands on angled legs. The oak frame is in very good condition and has been cleaned and waxed, the stylised copper panel has the original patina.
The bronze gong shows patination and hand-beaten charm, the original hide striker is dressed over cork with an oak handle and leather hanging loop. The hide is all intact.
The stand is very sturdy with no loose joints.
Delivery is included in the purchase price for all areas in MAINLAND England, Wales and southern Scotland.
This is via a two-person team to a room of your choice with good access.
