Brass & acid etched copper etagère coffee / cocktail table
in the manner of Maison Jansen. French. Circa 1970

The solid brass frame is supported by hexagonal uprights, terminating in spherical finials with acid etched copper inset top and lower tier panel.

A highly decorative and well proportioned table retaining the fabulous original patina.

Overall in very good condition, with light age related wear and surface marks. There is a small area of verdigris to one corner of the copper top, along with some marks to the lower tier. All are commensurate with age and use. Please refer to the photographs.

A pair of these tables of the same design sold at Christie’s London on 5 Nov 2013, lot 247 (£5,000 incl. Buyer's Premium). Described as two tier etageres.
