A large Art Nouveau silver and oak easel photograph frame embossed with a dragonfly and butterflies amongst stylized flowers. Hallmarked for Henry Charles Freeman: RD442132, Birmingham 1904.


In very good condition, with light wear for age. Small raised area to the oak back where one of the half roundels meets the oak frame, this is secure.


The silver photograph frame is fitted with an oak wood back with hinged strut, held at the top by two brass fitting half roundels which insert, and secured by a swivel catch at the base. The solid oak back appears to be a later replacement, however it has been professionally made and fitted to a high standard.
