A large Art Nouveau sterling silver and oak easel photograph frame, embossed with kingfishers and stylized flowers. Hallmarked for William Neale, RD412167, Birmingham 1910.
In very good condition, with light wear for age. There is a slight crease line in the silver to the top left plain ground area, please refer to the photographs.
The silver photograph frame is fitted with an oak wood back with hinged strut, held at the top by two brass fitting roundels which insert, and secured by a swivel catch at the base. The solid oak back appears to be a later replacement, however it has been professionally made and fitted to a high standard.
