Vintage American Art Deco Revival sapele and chrome circular book table. Made by Gramercy. Circa 1980s.


A striking Postmodern take on Deco glamour. The stylishly swept flat chrome plated steel base has a central finial. The chrome has a great shine.


The top, with quartered book match sapele and burr walnut crossbanded boarder.


Overall in excellent clean condition, there are a couple of very small areas which have spots to the chrome, the wood has a good polish, showing some light signs of use with age. There is a slight mark to the top as shown, only really noticeable if the glass is not used. The glass top is free from any damage but does have consistent scratch marks with use.


The table is very heavy, and structurally sound.
