1930’s Stanley Webb Davies Chestnut Single Bed Signed & Dated


A rare solid sweet chestnut single bed by one of England’s leading Arts & Crafts furniture makers from his workshop in Windermere in the Lake District. This rare solid chestnut single bedstead is dated 1930 and has the wonderful Stanley Webb Davies carved signature. This piece is in fabulous original condition and is a beautiful colour. Both the head and foot boards are well panelled with decorative diamond carved friezes and roll over ends to the tops of the posts. Complete with the original moulded side rails, we can have made bespoke wooden bed bases to fit, please enquire for pricing. We do have another SWD bed available.
