19th Century Large Scale Antique Oak Dining Table – Bodleian Library


This is a wonderful, large scale English antique Gothic oak dining table, very much in the style of Pugin and originally made for the Bodleian Library Oxford around 1870. In superb, very solid condition with fabulous refectory dining table bases that have shaped legs on long sledge feet with chamfered edges and connected by decorative arched supports and a central stretcher. This fabulous antique oak dining table is a superb size, the solid oak table top is very deep, and with plenty of room at the ends for diners to sit too. A rare to find large scale English antique solid oak refectory dining table with excellent and interesting provenance.
