Ample English Regency Antique Bobbin Turned Armchair


A wonderful, ample sized early 19th century well turned antique bobbin armchair that is in superb, complete condition and still in the original dark finish. A good size with a deep and wide seat, the bobbin turnings are nice and tight through the arms, the front rails have an incised simple design and the back rest and legs are also bobbin turned. Stands very well on original castors. A fabulous example with no breaks or repairs, dates to 1815. Deep seated with upholstered arm rests, requires cushions.
