Edwardian Antique Walnut Wardrobe by George Jack

A superb quality English antique solid walnut double wardrobe by the Arts & Crafts architect and Craftsman George Washington Henry Jack, most probably a design for Morris & Co whom Jack designed furniture for. This piece is beautifully made and features a lift off cornice which sits upon a two long panelled door hanging section, inside is the original brass clothes hanging rail and numerous brass hanging hooks. The wardrobe base stands on square legs and has two long and graduating drawers. In excellent clean and original condition, all the original iron work handles are present and the walnut timbers are a wonderful colour. Dates to 1900.
