English 18th Century Antique Tavern Settle – Carved Witch Device


A very original, English Georgian antique painted pine tavern settle that dates to around 1750 and is still in the original finish which has a fabulous surface. Slightly curved for extra stability, this Georgian antique tavern seat has open arms, all pegged construction and with some wonderful, ancient graffiti on the back along with a lovely original carved witch device to ward off evil spirits. A superb example that is a great colour.
