English 19th Century Antique Kitchen Dining Table in Original Paint


We actually purchased this wonderful large scale original painted pine antique table from the Worcestershire country house kitchen that it was originally made for around 1840, it had been there ever since. It is a fabulous model and still in the lovely original green antique pant finish. Featuring a wide scrubbed pine boarded table top which is all very original and has a historic small iron burn, proving the servants used the table top for ironing too! The turned leg table base has a deep drawer to each end, both have the original knob handles. The sturdy table legs are connected by twin stretchers that have lovely wear to the paint finish by feet over the years. All in superb, solid and totally original condition, a fabulous large scale piece of English original painted pine kitchen furniture.
