English 19th Century Quality Antique Military Chest of Drawers


A proper, true 19th century antique campaign chest of drawers, designed to be moved along the campaign trail, comes apart in two sections at the waist, along with four original screw off turned bun feet. Made entirely in an unusual choice of timber being chestnut which is a fabulous colour. This English antique military chest of drawers has brass bound corners to protect from knocks whilst moving and flush fit brass handles to the two short drawers over three long drawers. All five drawers run well and are clean inside. Lovely proportions and in very good original condition throughout. English and dating to around 1840.
