English Georgian Painted Pine Antique Chest of Drawers


A beautiful high quality 18th century antique chest of drawers, possibly by Gillows as the best quality. The original cream painted background has be gently refreshed, the original line work to the top, sides and drawer fronts was very faint, so has been relined exactly following the original ones. In superb condition, the two short drawers are over four long and graduating drawers, they all run freely and have the lovely, original fruitwood turned handles. All very complete, has a nudely moulded top, a well panelled back and stands on the fabulous big bun feet. English and dating to around 1780.
