English Quality 19th Century Antique Mahogany Wardrobe


A lovely proportioned, English antique super quality solid mahogany antique narrow wardrobe that dates to 1840. High grade mahogany timber used, made to be moved around with the quality carry handles to both sides. The flared cornice can be lifted off and inside is a original slide out panel, top stop items from falling forward when the two long panelled robe doors are opened. Good depth which is perfect for modern hangers, all totally original and a very good colour with some light fading to the polish on the front. Could almost be classed as a piece of English Campaign furniture for travelling, there is also signs of a mechanism to stop the single drawer from coming out whilst on the move. Even comes with the original lock and key. A lovely size for maybe a guest bedroom, smaller bedroom or a child’s bedroom.
