Extremely Rare Mediaeval Antique Iron Door Bracing Bar


A wonderful, very rare English Mediaeval antique iron door bracing bar that is beautiful hand made in solid iron with lovely curled over ends, to lock into position and decorated along the length with Mediaeval patterns. Dating from the 12th-13th century, this would have been used from the inside on a pair of doors, to lock / brace the doors from the inside. Could still be used for that purpose today, or would make a fabulous Mediaeval antique iron wall decoration.
