Fabulous Pair Mouseman Oak Open Bookcases


A wonderful, large pair of solid oak Mouseman adzed library open bookcases, made by Mouseman of Kilburn, Yorkshire for one of England’s most important Lutyens country houses in the early 2000’s. Complete with solid oak tongue and groove backboards and in such fabulous condition. They are both a lovely pale and even oak colour with lightly adzed surfaces. A real one off bespoke made pair of Mouseman library bookcases. The superb oak timbers used are amazing quality, very thick and heavy. Each Mouseman bookcase has four solid oak shelves and the bookcase sides splay out towards the floor for stability. The depths of the shelves taper from 22cm deep at the top, then 24cm, 25cm and 27cm at the lowest. These are substantial and heavy Mouseman oak open bookcases in excellent condition.
