Gillows Superb Quality 19th Century Antique Oak Writing Desk


A high quality English William IV antique oak desk, by Gillow of Lancaster around 1840. Featuring amazing hand carved lattice work drawer fronts and side panels and standing on four very shapely cabriole legs. Under the square pad feet are inset quality brass castors by Copes. In excellent clean and original condition throughout, the five oak lined drawers run smoothly and this Gillows antique desk is in the original rich finish. A wonderful piece, perfect to use as a desk, a dressing table or console.
