High Quality English 19th Century Solid Oak Antique Cabinet – Fitted Interior


A superbly made English antique solid oak nine door cupboard using beautiful high grade oak timbers. All nine cupboard doors are designed to be air tight, to protect the collection within. Each raised panelled door has the original quality brass handles. An impressive size and nicely proportioned, splits in two at the waist for moving. Inside the upper section are eighteen, original fitted oak drawers, each having the original brass knob handles and also the original brass name plaque to each drawer front. In excellent clean and original condition throughout, to the top is a moulded cornice and this handsome English antique oak cabinet stands on a square plinth. Possibly used in an English museum or country house library, dates to around 1860.
