Late Georgian English Antique Naive Horse Oil Painting


A lovely English late 18th century naive antique horse oil painting of a grey hunter in his tack looped to the farm gate outside his stable. Very well painted on canvas in the naive style of the time, around 1800. Beautifully mounted in a period maple wood frame that has the original gilt inner slip. Some small area of damage to the canvas, but mostly in excellent order. A decorative Late Georgian antique equine painting of large scale.
