Massive 19th Century Antique Oak Refectory Dining Table – Oxford University


This is a fantastic, large scale English 19th century antique refectory dining table, originally from one of the University of Oxford Colleges. Very much in the manner of a Heals Tilden model having six gun barrel turned table legs on sledge feet. A great size and perfect depth too, so plenty or room for diners along with platters and decorations down the centre. Rare to find now such large and very original English antique oak dining table, this is a superb example in totally and strong, clean condition. The long and deep table top is supported underneath by shaped corbels, this are mirrored on the sledge feet and the six tab legs are connected by a flat platform stretcher.
