Original Painted Simulated Bamboo English Antique Sussex Chair


This is a fabulous 19th century English Sussex armchair that is in totally original and complete condition. A beautiful model having simulated bamboo turnings to the back rest along with simulated bamboo legs. All still in the original painted finish with lovely foliage painted decorations to the back rest and original line decorations around the armchair. Even complete with the original fine rush seat that is in excellent condition. English and dating to around 1830, in superb, solid condition with lovely wear to the paint in places.
