Pair of 19th Century English Oak Antique Gothic Armchairs


A fabulous large pair of English solid oak 19th century antique Gothic armchairs of very high quality. Both are in excellent condition and still in the original finish, they feature pierced and shaped back rests with open arms that finish with lovely hand carved ends of foliage, each arm end is different. Beautifully made throughout, they stand firmly on chamfered legs with a pierced design below the solid oak seats. Most probably designed and made for a specific English Gothic house. The seat heights are 46cm.
