Rare 1950’s Cuban Mahogany Dining Table by Judith E Hughes

A beautifully hand made and very high quality, rare English mid 20th century Cuban mahogany drop leaf dining table. Made by England’s leading female cabinet makers at the time, Judith E Hughes. Made to an extremely high level, on par with more well known cabinet makers of the time like Peter Waals and Barnsley. The solid Cuban mahogany dining table is in excellent, strong and original condition, signed by Judith and with all the original paperwork, letters and estimates between Judith herself and her clients. Judith was the founding member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in 1955. We also have the matching six dining chairs and sideboard. This rare dining table was ordered in 1954 along with the matching pieces. When closed the table measures 43.5cm x 101cm.
