Rare 19th Century Creamware Antique Shop Display Stand by Parnall & Sons


A wonderful English antique creamware shop display stand of large scale, stamped by the maker Wedgwood. A very rare piece of antique creamware that has a wide circular top with a moulded edge set upon an inset shaped base / stem to form a stand. The top has the large original Parnall & Sons Ltd sign along with the address along the front edge. Originally made to be used in a 19th century English Grocer’s shop to display and sell goods from on the shop counter. Parnall & Sons were England’s leading shop fitting company around 1880, when this antique creamware shop display stand was made for them by Wedgwood. In very good, original condition with no crazing, cracks or hairlines, only an old small chip to the underside edge.
