Rare Early Gordon Russell Pale Walnut Double Bed from the 1920’s


A superb, high quality handmade standard UK double bed by Gordon Russell, a very rare and early example from the late twenties, it is in wonderful original condition and still in the original finish. Made in solid rich walnut with actual solid ebony octagonal feet, all pegged construction and featuring a well panelled head board with a shaped top rail with a matching panelled footboard that is 84cm high. A wonderful design, beautifully made, comes with the original side rails. We can have a bespoke wooden slatted bed base made to fit, please enquire for pricing. A rare piece of early Gordon Russell English antique furniture from the Cotswolds.
