Rare Model Heals Of London Antique Double Bed


A superb quality early antique double bed by Heals of London, a special order for a country house bedroom. We have a few other matching pieces. Beautifully made, very high quality and featuring chequer inlays in holly and box woods. In excellent condition and all still in the original finish, this rare model Heals antique double bed features four arches within the head board with column supports and a nicely moulded oak top. The foot board has four raised panels with a matching moulded top. A standard UK double bed size, this is a superb rare model that even has its original, clean upholstered folding divan base, so no base needs to be made for it, just pop on a mattress and use. Dates to 1900.
