A huge English very high quality made in solid walnut, Country House sofa.  Made at huge expense for Witanhurst House, the largest home in London, only second to Buckingham Palace in the seventies. Vast scale sofas surplus to requirements and never upholstered. A frame of this scale and quality would alone cost upwards of £10,000. As it is the sofa frame, it could easily be adapted, shortened or made into chairs. In excellent solid condition. Has been dry stored for years. A rare opportunity to purchase a wonderful Country House sofa frame with great provenance.
