C1860 A French Oak Country House Console Table de Ferme


An Outstanding C19th French Farm Table of wonderfully chunky proportions with 6 block legs, joined by broad flat stretchers which are concave at the ends. The scale of this table is eye catching as everything is bolder than normal. Additional features are twin drawers either side of the central leg and long sliding frieze compartments to the side which have beautifully simple finger recesses. To each end there are pull out slide extensions. Height under frieze 58cm.
