Item Details

Late 19th century Venetian mirror with curved top set between re-entrant upper corners. The frame has elongated scallop cuts along the outer edge and dainty small scallop cuts along the inner edge with a beautifully etched central design of flowers and leaves. Each section of the frame is secured with elongated glass leaf corners and these have some attractive age. There is just a very little light age in the frame sections and the bevelled central glass, which gives an excellent reflection. This is a lovely mirror when seen in reality; the photographs do not do it justice!
