Item Details

Late 19th century French mirror with narrow, silverleafed, ropetwist frame. Where this mirror has been cleaned for over 100 years, the silverleaf has thinned a little allowing the black bole to show through and enhancing the ropetwist design. The original glass has just a hint of age, gives an excellent reflection and this mirror can be hung portrait (as photographed) or landscape.
