Item Details

Antique Italian mirror, circa 1920, with outset corners. The silverleafed frame is decorated with a punched and etched design of geometric patterns and acanthus leaves. Where the silverleaf has thinned after years of dusting, the warm chestnut brown bole beneath the silver is beginning to show through giving the mirror frame a warm glow. The original glass has a little age in the form of small dots here and there but gives an excellent reflection.
